Young people with cerebral palsy and other pathologies enjoyed creating their own designs by doing crafts and drawing.
The Murcia-based fashion brand Silvia Navarro held a Fashion Design, Color Theory, and Crafts Workshop with ASTRAPACE. The workshop took place at the association's Day Care Center in Zarandona and was attended by twenty people aged 20 to 35 who thoroughly enjoyed themselves throughout the morning.
The company's CEO, Silvia Navarro , led the workshop to meet the center's users and observe their many talents for combining colors and creating party designs. Under the theme of 'Floral', everyone enjoyed a fun-filled day creating crafts on mannequins and experimenting with different types of fabrics and textures.
ASTRAPACE , the Association for the Treatment of People with Cerebral Palsy and Related Pathologies, is an association that serves people with these pathologies, striving to improve the quality of life of these individuals and their families, promoting the full development of their individual and social capacities and fostering actions and services that encourage their inclusion in a fairer and more equal society.
This initiative, made possible through the collaboration of ASTRAPACE's Department of Association Development, is complemented by a donation and falls within the fashion company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy. It joins many other initiatives, such as those undertaken with Down Alicante, the Pequeño Deseo Foundation, and other NGOs and private causes.
Silvia Navarro 's collaboration with Astrapace dates back to 2019 and to date there have been collaborations, events and charity sales, all of which have been very well received and accepted.
With this action, Silvia Navarro celebrates up to five SDGs of the UN 2030 Agenda : number 3, Good Health and Well-being, number 4, Quality Education, number 8, Decent Work and Economic Growth, number 10, Reducing Inequalities by Supporting Marginalized and/or Needy People and number 17, Partnerships for the Goals.
