Silvia Navarro from the Granada School of Art leads a masterclass on the occasion of the Fortuny Young Talents Fashion Show.

The class included a visit to the designer's Granada store, and Silvia also presented the center with a sewing machine for the students.

Silvia Navarro was the guest fashion designer this year at the Fortuny Young Talents Fashion Show in Granada, which was the tenth edition of this meeting for professionals and students so highly valued in the world of fashion, and this fashion show has become one of the most representative in Andalusia.

Navarro gave a master class entitled 'Confessions and advice of a businesswoman and fashion designer' at the José Val del Omar School of Art and Design in Granada and was able to show the students and teachers in attendance 'the seams' and all the intricacies of her commercial haute couture firm, showing the new designs of our collection for guests and brides and allowing them to see up close the artisanal sewing methods and finishes.

Silvia Navarro 's presentation concluded with a visit to her Granada boutique, one of seven she owns across Spain. All the students from the Fashion Design program who attended the conference signed up for the tour. Silvia generously donated her fee to the school, allowing them to purchase a new sewing machine for their facilities.

The following day, the designer had the opportunity to serve as a judge at the 10th Fortuny Fashion Show, an event held at the Science Park in Granada. That day, the park became the perfect setting for a fashion spectacle that brought together 50 promising designers and eight striking collections competing for the top three prizes. The glamour of the runway was enhanced by the presence of distinguished authorities, including the Mayor of Granada, Marifran Carazo; the Regional Minister of Educational Development and Vocational Training, Patricia del Pozo Fernández; the Director of the José Val del Omar School of Art and Design in Granada, Blas Calero; Antonio Granados, the Delegate of the Andalusian Regional Government in Granada; and María José Martín Gómez, Delegate of Educational Development and Vocational Training.

Silvia Navarro's participation in the Granada School of Art reinforces the firm's commitment to training new talent in the world of fashion.
